Masked Rider - Season 1 Episode 5 - Meet Eliza
"Thomas Matthews...I like that name. I think I might call you Matt for short..." Belle giggles as she sits on the sofa with the Masked Rider and gazed into to his eyes innocently.
Belle looks into the beautiful warm fire and feels a sense of happiness. Something new deep in her heart was born and was very much alive. It was love.
"Do you think I could become a good vigilante?" Belle looks at the Rider symbol and thinks about her future a little. "Even if we do take down Mayor and the other corrupt people, what future do we have? Together?"
'The fight is not over as long as we live, Shocker always will be there..." Matt said seriously to Belle. "The thing is you can become a vigilante, if you want, but the Riders, Shocker and I are not human anymore...''
Belle gets closer to Matt.
''Together? I don't know. I made a promise to myself to not get attach myself to somebody, but I think I can make an exception...''
Belle sits on his lap, but not sexually, more in a very cute way. So innocent underneath her roughness.
''You and a handful of people know my identity....'' Matt said to Belle. "And my face..."g
"Who were you before they got you and turned you into this?"
''I was a normal college student." Matt looked into Belle's eyes. "I was also a stunt biker and a racer." He explained. "When I was driving one day, I was being chased by what I thought were a bike gang." His eyes became dead and Belle could see something underneath was very broken. It was as if even Matt's real face was a mask to him. "It was shocker and they attacked me." He said sad. "I woke up in a facility right when i was turned into this and a hour of excruciating pain later...I had my memory wiped and I became one of the most powerful Rider trooper there was. They controlled me." He paused for a second. "After they made me, I killed my family and I felt my humanity rise again...I broke free of their control." Belle out her hand on his. "Until this day, I felt like I had non of my humanity left..." He looked at her. "The only ones I kill are of Shocker...they took away my life and I will take way theirs."
Belle begins to cry.
"You've been through so much...I just feel so sad for you. If it's worth anything to you, you're my hero as you always keep me safe and warm. We can both get through this." Belle manages to say, despite her tears. "I am yours and forever shall be."
''Thanks, Belle...'' Belle rests on Matt's shoulder and she begins to move close for a kiss.
After kissing, the two sat in front of the roaring fire and despite the fact that they could've taken it one step further, Belle fell asleep in the arms of Thomas and he carries her to the main bedroom as he politely slept in the guest bedroom.
Belle wakes up with sunshine directly targeting her from the window. She tried to hide under the covers and then she was a little lost to how she got there. She was also still wearing her towel. She decided to wear her love t-shirt, skirt and red leather jacket again as that seemed both sweet and practical.
"Where is he...?" Belle wonders as she looks around the safe house.
Just then, Belle hears a door knock and its a girl with a note on her hands for Belle with the Rider logo the note says that he will be gone for a couple days, but that Eliza/Rendall will take care of her, but to also not to let her appearance fool Belle. They are a Rider as well a shapeshifter and that hope she isn't angry with him. Matt had signed his name at the end of the note.
''Hello, sorry to disturbed you ma'am, but I was sent here by Ichigo or how you know him as the Masked Rider." The green haired woman looks at the piece of paper again. "Let me see here...ah, okay. Bella, is it?'' Said the woman in a somewhat childish voice yet with a slight accent
Why did Matt leave? Is he in trouble?! Not that I am not pleased to have a girl to speak to and all; I just hate feeling like I have to stay away from missions all of a sudden. Belle thinks in her mind and doesn't say out loud as she wouldn't want to offend the girl.
"Eliza, welcome in." Belle saids blocking out her anxiety.
''Thanks! Man, I haven't seen a normal person or a girl for a while." She then sets her two bags down then she sits on the couch. ''Look, I know it's weird but think of it like a sleepover with a friend." She smiles at Belle. "Also, don't worry for Ichigo. You see, he is helping Amazon and Stronger in Canada with a problem they've been having."
She then gets up and checks the fridge for beer.
''Also, you should really check those files there important! Ah, there we go...'' She sits back on the couch. "I kinda can read your mind." She smirks. "It's part of my powers. My name is actually ZO or SHIN or J...it's whatever you want."
Belle tries to block out all of her romantic thoughts on the Masked Rider and how warm his hold was as she hears about ZO's powers. She begins to blush a little and look awkwardly away as she begins thinking of things like puppies and cats.
"You can read my mind? It gets crazy sad in there so I have to warn you right now. You see, I kinda have anxiety about everything thanks to unpleasant past experiences. I would like to read that file now..."
''Hey, I only read minds when I have too.''
She sets the computer for Belle to see the files.
''Well, as you can see, this is how all of us were made or when we first appeared." Eliza explained. "That's Stronger, my boii. He's big, but not insanely. Just normal. Although, he needs lots of electricity..." She explains. "Now, once we get to my file, don't be scared."
Belle sees that Stronger had worked with Matt. Also, she sees a pic of him and Matt fighting together. There was also one of stronger in giant size, which sorta scared Belle a little.
''Now, this one is interesting here....it's Amazon. He's like our dog, but be careful he bites." Eliza smirks at Belle with her mischievous grin again.
Belle sees that Amazon is an animal. He attacks like one and sees him pull out an arm from someone, brutally. There was another of him covered in what looks like blood and of him eating a monster.
''Told you to calm down." She looks at Belle. "I can show you more, if you want. There are a lot more of the, you know...''
"Though I like knowing there's more Riders out there like Matt, I need some adventure of my own right now to keep me from being too worried about Matt." Belle turns off the computer so she didn't have to see the very bloody pictures. "Mayor Matthews is a Shocker rat and I would like to bring him to justice. There's also some Shocker Lab near the woods in the old university. Your pick..." Belle says timidly.
''Matt said to keep you safe." She said worriedly. "But fine...I'm coming along." Eliza said with a smile. "I would like to take down the mayor. Oh, do you have somewhere I can change?''
Belle nods and then giggles. "This house has the biggest wardrobe that I've ever seen."
''Do you also some nice clothing? All I have for girl clothes are pants, shirts and some flannels, but I never wore a dress or went to a fancy party or a party to be honest."
Belle takes Eliza to her room and takes with her bag filled with girl clothes to see which outfits look well on her since she researched a little about the Mayor and what his taste on women are.
"This is your lucky day as I have learned how to enjoy dresses over these last few days and I know what works in these parties. The mayor likes a girl in a green dress and green is probably more your colour as you have that natural beauty and all. I'll wear a red one as it makes me think of someone special and I miss him a lot..." Belle replies timidly.
Eliza looks at the dress and is amazed.
''Cool, and green is sorta is my favorite colour.'' She said with a wink as she then goes goes to a mirror and grabs her hair. She changes it to a black and green.
''How do i look?'' She asks as she puts on the dress. "You look like something from a fairytale!" Belle said in almost a girlish shriek. Belle puts on her red dress, straightens her long black hair like she did for the last party she went to and then she applied her red lipstick to look her part even more. Her thoughts still loomed on how much she missed Matt and how she should've loved to show him what she looked like now. I might've known Matt for only so long, but when you meet someone so perfect, it feels like you've known that person for years. And he was the first person to truly make me feel at peace. But I don't feel that way now...I feel lost...like a piece of my heart is missing... Belle thinks to herself. Please, don't die wherever you are, Matt. I need you. "I think we best go. We'll seduce the mayor and then beat the crap out of him, right?" Belle asks with a smirk. "Girl, you just read my mind." Eliza chuckled. Belle put on her Mother's cross necklace again for good luck. She might've never known her Mother but the necklace still meant something to her. Like a good luck charm. It was one of her few possessions that reminded her that she at least had a family. Even if she isn't in one now. "Woah, you really do look like a fairytale princess..." ''Well, I sorta am.'' Said Eliza, laughing. Eliza sees that Belle is sad by looking at her in the mirror, but she promised Matt that she wouldn't read her mind. As she is ready to leave, she nearly forgets her necklace. ''Ah, here we go! You know, this is sorta how I use my full powers and use my real form.'' Eliza explains. Just then, the necklace glows a green colour. "Wow..." Belle stammered. ''Told ya green is my colour, luv...'' Eliza smirks again. As they get in the car, Eliza looks at Belle curiously. ''You know, he does care for you and he sent me here for you to not be alone...'' "Matt and I have been through so much in only a week that I feel connected to him. I'm just worried about him. He's really been the first person I've felt connected with in such a longtime." Belle says as she looks out of the window. "Let's have some fun so I can keep my mind from missing him." And with that, Eliza drove the two to the Mayor's party. She kept on glancing at Belle and smiling at her. Once they make it to the fancy garden venue, the two girls are directed to the main garden area. It was night and lights were placed all over the garden near the mayor's mansion. Mayor Matthew eyes Eliza as soon as she enters and also eyes Belle yet in some different way. "Would you two ladies like to join me for a private party in my bedroom?" The mayor whispers to the two whilst they were giggling and playing the part of ditzy girls. "Like sure!" Belle says as she plays with her hair a little like a bimbo would. The mayor briefly and discreetly rubbed Eliza's ass. He had the smirk of a devil. Belle and Eliza wait in his bedroom for about an hour. In this time, Belle changes into her stealth outfit again. Eliza got a little hot and flustered when she saw Belle slip into something so tight. Suddenly, a whole squad of Shocker troops enter the room with guns raised at the two and the Mayor walks through with a special helmet. He looked almost like a King. A very powerful King at that. ''Umm...it was her. She did it.'' Eliza pointed to Belle. Andrews looks at the both and his fists clenched. He was like a volcano waiting to erupt. ''You know, it was stupid to get in my house for the third time." He chuckles. "You either have a crush on me or you fucking hate me." The Mayor stepped closer to her. "Hopper 1 is sorta your boyfriend now, is he? Hmm...let me guess, you came after me cause you want to prove yourself more than a girl that is in over her head." He and the rest of the troops chuckle in unison. "This is Shocker! We are the world! Kill them...'' As the Shocker troopers shoot at them both, a shield materialises as Eliza pushes Belle behind her. ''You know, when I said this isn't my real form...well, this is!'' She says as the bullets fire. Belle sees what looks almost leafs start spreading around Eliza as her eyes change red. "Now, he is here..." ''Belle you gotta get outta here!'' Said ZO with his normal voice. As ZO took care of the soldiers and Andrews, Belle jumps out of the window and into the pool in the middle of the fancy party. She gets out of the pool and runs for the car. However, Mayor Matthews was still chasing her as he managed to slip out of the room quickly. The Mayor was wearing an odd metal helmet and gauntlets that shot light beams at Belle. One light beam hit her leg and made her collapse in pain. The Mayor takes out a sacrificial blade and then stabs Belle in the stomach where she laid scrambling. "Both the press and the police will know not of your death as I have them both in my pocket. I knew your Father, Belle. Do you know why you found him stabbed to death as a teenager? He refused to join us even with us offering him to become the best fighter ever. I've been watching you grow up and the whole of last week was something I didn't expect. You showed me that you have your Father's fighter in you and your Mother's habit for falling in love with dangerous men. Yes, I knew her too. You deserved to know the mastermind behind all your pain was I." Mayor Matthews smirked. "Dad..." Belle mutters to herself as she slips unconscious. As Belle slowly start to fall unconsciousness, she sees Matt but something was different about him as the figure fought Andrews and broke his leg. Alongside him, ZO appears and figure pushes him aside as they grab Belle. She sees that is the other hopper rider taking her. A couple hours later, Belle wakes up in the safe house, but something felt off. As she gets up from the bed, she sees her wound is bandaged up and that she has other clothes. She hears Eliza and a man arguing. ''Are you crazy?! Shocker could have seen you! You weren't supposed to intervene.'' Eliza said at him. ''I couldn't let her, Liz. Andrews could've killed her if it weren't for me.'' ''Jack, you need to understand you were supposed to make them still think you were still under their control.'' Eliza sighed. "Look, they still don't realise that I'm not under their control anymore." Jack retorted. It was safe to say that Belle was shocked to see hopper 2 in the house. However, it all begun making sense to her. She wished she knew that earlier when she was running from him as she left the Mayor's party. ''Ah, great! You woke her up jack.'' ''It's not my fault.'' Jack says angrily. "Ummm...I'm a little groggy and I can't particularly piece together what you're talking about. What happened again? Why with the yelling?" Belle says as she clutches her head as it hurt from when she was knocked on her feet. She sees that they salvaged the mayor's helmet and light gauntlets. "Belle, I think you need to sit down.'' Eliza said at her. Eliza brings her to the couch with her fancy green hair from last night but with an open shirt and a t-shirt with some skinny jeans and some white sneakers. But right across them, hopper 2 was sat down. His armour was armour was like Matt's just with slight differences like green colour and with the eyes red on the helmet. He looked a lot scarier than Matt, but maybe that was because his voice was a little lower than Matt's voice. ''Well, I think you have met him before." Eliza said with a smile. "This is jack Hartman.'' ''Let just cut to the quick chat." He said bluntly. "Shocker did indeed affect your family and we think that you should not continue to try to fight them, Miss Wright." ''What?! But Jack...'' ''We have decided already! She is human and we are not. It's more dangerous for her.'' ''What about Matt? What he would say?'' ''I'll deal with Matt when he gets back. Belle, you cannot do this. Shocker too dangerous to fight head-on and if you continue this you might die.'' ''She is trying to make a change. I can feel her. She wants to make a change.'' ''Then she can do it as a nurse, but she will never be a Rider...'' "Jack, I don't need to be a member of your little Rider club to get the justice that I want. They took my family from me and I need to make him pay..." Belle says as she stands up to face Jack, despite the pain she was feeling, and picks up the Mayor's light gauntlets. Jack takes the gauntlets from her hands and throws them on the floor. ''You don't understand, do you?! I'm doing this to protect you from yourself! Shocker is everywhere! I don't care about your vendetta. I don't care if your family died. I'm giving you the chance to return to your normal life or I'm gonna have to do something you'll regret. You'll never become what we are. Matt trained you, but there are more then just the Shocker in your city. You think we asked to become this? We didn't! We don't fight cause we want to, we fight because we need to..." They both look at each other with anger in their eyes. ''Guys, please stop fighting! Jack, you can't decide who want to be a hero. Belle, even though Jack is an asshole, he's right. Shocker is the world's government and is everywhere. Look, I'm not saying you can't fight, but what i mean is that you can fight....not as yourself though. We have powers, abilities and skills. Matt trained you to defend yourself, but not to be a vigilante..." Said Eliza scared, but Belle realises she read her mind and that she was right. "I'm sorry, Jack and Eliza..." Belle saids before collapsing again on the floor. Belle dreamt of her Father in the ring and being hit down hard. He gets back up against all the odds and defeats the bigger man. Such willpower and strength. Her dreams then wondered to Matt and him kissing her. He ache to be with him. She didn't want to loose Matt like she did with her Father... As both Jack and Eliza see Belle on the floor. Eliza picks her up effortlessly. She turns to Jack worriedly. ''Jack, what are we gonna do? What will Matt say?'' "Hey, don't look at me. Remember, Matt ordered us to keep her out of trouble. And he also said to keep her out of Shocker business until he gets back. Have you heard of Zcross, S-1 and Sky-Rider?" ''They're in the middle of getting V3 out of the old lab. Are you sure Rider X is still in the city?''
''He is. I called Justin earlier. He said that no Shocker activity is happening at the moment. Just keep Belle safe, alright?'' ''Thank god. Alright, see you...cap.'' Eliza smirks at Jack. ''See you, Eliza. And remember-'' ''No turning into ZO if their is a problem and protect Belle like she was one of the kids i protected' before i joined.'' ''Okay, see you...'' As Jack leaves, Eliza brings Belle to the bed and she wraps her with a blanket. She later kisses Belle on the lips. ''Man, if you weren't with Matt, I totally would've dated you...'' Eliza then lays next to the unconscious Belle and sleeps next to her.
